$30,000 to the LEAGUE TO SAVE LAKE TAHOE, South Lake Tahoe, Ca., to protect and restore the environmental quality, scenic beauty, and low-impact recreation opportunities of the Lake Tahoe Basin.

$31,110 to the ROYAL OPERA HOUSE FOUNDATION, London, England, for the Priority Ten Membership for 2005.

$25,000 to the SAN FRANCISCO BALLET for general support.

$25,000 to the SAN FRANCISCO BALLET to help underwrite the annual fundraising gala.

$50,000 to the SAN FRANCISCO OPERA for general support.

$38,000 to the SAN FRANCISCO OPERA for general support.

$10,000 to STANFORD UNIVERSITY, Stanford, Ca., in honor of the 35th reunion year of the Class of 1969.

$17,500 to TAPROOT FOUNDATION, San Francisco, to sponsor five grants of creative services and production in web site design, brochure design, branding and database design to Columbia Foundation grantee organizations. The Taproot Foundation selects nonprofit organizations and matches them with design and communications professionals who, on a pro-bono basis, will help an organization improve its communication with the public through brochures, web sites, and other communication methods.
